Think it's been long enough since I've recommended Roc Marci, so here I am to suggest a Roc Marci reaction. He dropped a new album tonight, Marciology. He gets credited for being a sort of godfather for the minimal drum, sample/loop heavy sound that a lot of "underground" rappers use. Also, I think the way he raps feels a little different flow wise so even though there's a lot of overlap in content with rappers who talk drugs, guns, street stuff, pimp stuff, etc., the way Roc does it makes it feel (dare I say) elevated. I will be back to recommend him again in approximately 1-12 weeks should this album not make the cut, thanks Bob!
