this album is not fucking "lacking". utterly ridiculous opinion. for fk sake it has all falls down, jesus walks, family ties, slow jamz, THROUGH THE WIRE, last call and that's not even every classic. i'm sorry to say it doesn't get much better than this.

This is a good point, and something I've learned over time as I learn more about Kanye and hip-hop in general. Also, you'll be happy to know that my stating I wanted to hear more anger led to everyone telling me to listen to Yeezus :)

You keep saying you want that anger. At the time no one was saying the things he was saying. So, him just mentioning it was enough. Also, black people, especially black men are always thought to be "angry" so the fact that he isn't, and he's more hopeful, or sarcastic is better to me. Rap often was known to be angry. He was truly doing something different.

I was kinda bummed you didn'tfinish out the last track because his story is so great..but it is something you cann read about anywhere. I agree that this album is lackng but it was huge at the time and a precursor when he went rouge and amazing on Late Registration.
