It was legitimately a really, really good movie and we absolutely loved it. Some DCOMS kind of suffer for quality, but some of them are actually really great and this is one of the great ones โ๏ธโจ

2024-07-25 02:54:08 +0000 UTCI want to share that I literally laughed at myself on the band you chose to talk about as an example of vocoder use because you said absolutely no one would likely know them. I actually asked "The metal band?" out loud when the Cynic album cover popped up on screen. I can't consciously recall how I even know they are a metal band, but this fact is stored somewhere in my brain. ๐ (I am quite sure I have never heard that song before though.) Metal music is not my thing, but I bet have truly listened to 30-40 metal songs in life so I must have come across one of theirs somewhere in the last 20 years. I am still shocked because I am absolutely horrendous at remembering the names of people, places, and things. I know this is such a silly thing make post about, but I was truly surprised that I knew who they were.

2024-07-19 02:27:12 +0000 UTCI think this is one of the best music DCOMs, but I think this is only the third time I have watched the actual film. Even though he redeems himself in the end, I can't get past the pastor dad character. Even during this rewatch, I was legitimately getting pissed off. I was just surrounded by too many people that acted like this on a variety of different issues when I was growing up.
