This shit is too good. Once again. 'NO RAGRETS' that I decided to check it out thanks to you lot and your persistence.
Firstly I have to say Rain was a fantastic mentor on this show, probably the best I've seen on any show so far. So much love and care and actual tutoring, not just flexing his ego.
I've lost so many of my thoughts now but wow I now truly get why this show was SO traumatic lool the voting and shit is just sooo messy but tbh necessary I guess lol. Jay actually shined a lot throughout here. He's so effortlessly funny and kind hearted. The right person definitely debuted.
So many standout moments throughout I had a BLAST. K's star power was starting to show and i love how respected he was along with Heeseung. It's going to be crazy seeing the point where he doesn't make it but at least I can rest knowing he's now where he was meant to be!

I enjoyed their overall performance way more but I get that it is a vocal focused battle. I will always be a little bitter that they voted Sunoo out of I-Land despite his top vote ngl. They kept playing in his face 😭

2025-06-01 02:49:22 +0000 UTCReal recognise real. K was not letting Jungwon touch Ground - by force, by fire 😂😂 It’s interesting watching this actually knowing everyone. I actually disagree with a lot of people that Taki was lacking skills-wise in I-land lol. I think he was just super green and has an extreme lack of confidence in himself at this stage. When Ni-ki was contemplating on wether to lead, it shows he doesn’t think of Taki as one of the people lacking skill, just confidence. Plus, when I see him in the background of scenes, he’s usually the only one not completely losing his head as long as he’s not the centre of attention lol. The way he was tapping Ni-ki was cracking me up, Taki really said “Do you know you have 30 mins????” Bless, they’re babies 😭😭 Jay is such a gem honestly. His mature mindset and sincerity just comes through every single time he speaks. Not to mention resilience, watching I-land made me grow such a fondness for him. Oh and rewatching this is also showing me that everybody K compliments was guaranteed to debut. Might as well have him on the producers panel 😂😂 Oh and it is still so baffling how much they underestimated Sunoo - I have to think it’s got something to do with thinking about team chemistry because unskilled he is not! 😭 The longer they spend time with this divide between Ground & I-land, the less they’re going to consider the ‘opposing’ side as future bandmates interpersonally. I don’t know, maybe they should’ve done staggered eliminations prior but it is only ep 4/5. Still wild.
