2023-05-01 04:02:07 +0000 UTCIn case no one has mentioned, when you get your braces removed you donβt get to keep them. You get a new thing called a retainer or a set of retainers. Its a cross between dentures and braces. Its the base of the dentures but a wire instead of teeth. You take it out when you eat. Youβre supposed to wear the retainer all the time for the first year and then just at night for the second (more or less). (I had braces for four years and used my retainers for much longer because i had a very bad overbite. 15 years later i might need some adjustments again)
