Another stellar episode where I FINALLY see where the smoke challenge came from. Bada the ICON THAT YOU ARE!
It was nice to see some glimpses of positivity cos goddamn the animosity between the dancers can feel a BIT tooooo icy at times, like where's the camaraderie, literally my favourite thing in life! There's definitely glimpses of it now thank god.
I'm SO EXCITED for the next episode and the whole season! What an entertaining bunch of talented women fr! There's also such a sense of unpredictability brought on by the foreign women which makes the show even more exciting.

If you're interested, she's got her own youtube show now where she has guests on and talks about choreo/dances with them a bit. She had Taeyong on and recently Hanbin from ZB1! Might be better to wait until after you're finished with SWF tho cos I think some of the convos spoil it haha. Can't wait for more of this xx

2024-06-11 11:27:18 +0000 UTCThe best thing about this season is some of the first ep drama is like real drama and feelings but it makes it even more touching when they do heal these relationships in the end and even tho not all of it was on camera you will eventually see them all get along and it’s very special to watch bc without the show some of these girls would have never gotten back together. Bc despite all the tension and drama, you can see real love between them. Idk I feel like compare to the guys, the first episode of SMF was wayy more petty drama and unnecessary tension. There’s some manufactured stuff with the intro video of each crew though (which I’ve heard is bc production would intentionally show the worst dance videos of these dancers to get negative comments out of the others and create more reactions lol like Audrey’s). That said, they probably just cut out all the good feedback and niceties and just leave the negative part with tense music. As the show goes on, a natural show of respect start to show through and not a complete 180 from bullies to buddies edits like SMF. That’s what I like the most about SWF2. Yes they’re feisty and competitive but you can tell that they will give respect to their colleagues when they earn it

I've seen many comment about how some girls talk more than they dance ( wich is true sometimes lol ) and that they are mean but we must not forget that this is a Mnet show lol they probably asked the girls to exagerate to have this kind of dramatic moment I bet most of them are playing a character who can be annoying I admit but its still entairtainment and Ive seen all of it already and none of them are evil (even Redlic lol)

In season 1 they literally painted YGX as villains and like everyone was bullying Noze when irl Leejung was taking care of Noze and they were friends. Loved this episode! Was looking forward to your reaction to Waackxxxy and Kirsten’s battle! They were so in sync! Also Ren became one of my faves in this season cause she’s genuinely actually a really kind kid.

I’m like wtf! Ppl make everything racist these days . Kirsten and gabee got these kind of comments and they dont mean bad . Redlic is a sour loser not racist and even one of the judges said sth abt it suiting latrice’s physique more and it was an advantage and i agree and other mannequeen girl complemented her during the dance saying she’s so good with her body and we could all see it even you said , its a good thing . its obv gonna look better on HER body cuz she made ittttt She’d obv make sth that looks gr8 on her . Redlic was very dumb , childish and sour abt this whole thing but ppl make everything racist , i dont know why her saying she feels like its unfair bcz latrice is competing with her body translates to latrice is competing with her black african body 🙂 i’m sure it would’ve been the same if it was kirsten or any other dancer , one of the girls also said sth abt bada’s physique and how its contributing but ppl just love seeing color and making everything racist .

There was a clip that I'm guessing they cut for Sub-leader battle with La'Trice and Redlic and she made some comments about her 'physical' being a Black women and we all know how foreign or different to their norm is!!! Like girl just except you loss the battle and move on!!!

2024-06-01 06:52:33 +0000 UTComg yay! just upgraded to watch this with you haha. i remember my mate and i were so freaked out when this came out cos it was so funny to just suddenly hear our accents (kiwi and and aussie) in the middle of an mnet competition show lmao. we found it so funny that there were so many times in the eng subs that they 'mistranslated' the ENGLISH! because they were using kiwi/aussie slang lol

Women are still treated as inferior to men in the dance world so I thought they would support and liberate each other more, but I guess that’s just the nature of reality tv. I get it’s a competition but IT JUST STARTED LIKE CHILL OUT😭

2024-05-31 20:49:07 +0000 UTCI don't like fake nice, but some of these girls are too meaann, like sit dowwn. it seems so unsportsmanlike or idk maybe I'm not familiar with dance culture, but it's so fierce..too much spice. at least jam republic is a bit more chill. loved renas choreo! hate smoke as a song so I can't really enjoy the dance as someone who doesn't know anything abt dancing, but bada leee 👀 her voice also caught me off guard
