Regarding their past: I think the best way to say it is that they've never done anything with malice, it's just been ignorance. Every member is Korean and most of their fans are Korean, so they emulate things in Korean culture that we would consider problematic but to them is just normal e.g. that dumb Curry song. I'm not excusing it, just giving context I guess It doesn't help that international fans fall over themselves to point fingers, e.g. YooA's solo debut twitter posts got ratioed for being "racist" when there was absolutely nothing wrong with it, and it's now constantly mentioned as one of the best solo debuts!
