Patreon Exclusive Update - March 2025

Fuck off, March. It's time for the monthly update - for paid patrons only!

Hey funny friends, hope you've been swelling real nice this March. If you missed it, I shared another sneak peek at FP4 right over here!

Stupit Computer Issues are RESOLVED:

Last month I detailed some PC issues I was experiencing, as well as a method I used to try to fix said issues. I'm happy to report, the issues are now resolved! Since disabling C-States, I've had zero random restarts. In addition to that, I limited the voltage and temperatures of my CPU in the BIOS settings, resulting in safer and more consistent levels. It's hard to say if those tweaks have impacted performance, but so far I haven't noticed any major differences.

Fesh Pince 4 Progress:

Now that my idiot computer issues are fixed, I've been able to slave away at FP4 without fear. It's been the usual brainstorming ideas, polishing segments and creating assets for the Patreon credits. I like to bounce between those three things to maintain my sanity. If I stay working on the same section for too many hours, it turns my brain into foamy garbage water.

This month, I'm going to try to piece everything I have together to see how it all flows, and continue editing from there. As it stands now, I have several large chunks within the project that are isolated from each other. I keep these sections separated because it allows adjustments and additions to be implemented more easily. I often need to move large segments aside to make alterations, and if everything is compiled together, making those modifications can cause issues if I'm not careful - so I try to wait until each section is in a more finalized state before I begin connecting it to the rest of the project.

On the flip side - having everything compiled together allows me to better visualize where I'm going with the project, and can lead to new ideas and connections inspired by viewing all existing edits seamlessly. I think it'll also help me avoid fixating on specific sections for too long. I used the same compilation method during the creation of FP3 in order to reign myself in, and focus on finalizing the project.

Reminder about the delay for FP4 in relation to future nideos:

My next nideo after FP4 won't take nearly as long to complete as FP4 is taking. It's very important for me to make sure FP4 lives up to the legacy of the previous installments, so I'm taking as much time as necessary to come up with worthy edits, and to polish the hell out of it. FP4 is also significantly longer than my usual nideos - adding to the delay. After it's complete, I'll focus on nideos that are a more reasonable length, and my upload cadence will be more reasonable.

Closing thoughts:

Make no mistake, March is an idiot of a month. I wish March was an ugly criminal so I could punch it in the front of the neck, and then kick it in the back of the neck. Despite this, progress on FP4 was once again to my satisfaction. Thinking back, I'm also very grateful that I resolved my PC issues. Maybe March wasn't so bad. I'm still choosing to be pissed at it, though. I recommend you hate it too.

April, on the other hand, is going to be top-notch. I'm almost certain something cool will happen in ALL of our lives during April. I, for one, will be smashing together all the scenes I have so far in FP4, and going to town on editing those suckers.

So, in conclusion - I love all you swell children. I cannot thank you enough for the support, and once again, I am sorry for Fesh Pince 4 taking an eternity to complete. I'm doing everything I can to make it worth the wait. We are getting closer, and soon I will be free from my Carlton-shaped prison.
