I’m a grandfather and I don’t have one of these in my attic, I have one in my gun room where it gets used now and then. You are right about the wrist hurting…..using them is a young person’s job…..which is what having children is for.

The reason these traps feel snappier or harsher may be the spring design. The old version has a single coil, that returns to a soft center. The two newer ones return to a flat, almost rigid center when the spring fully contracts, then has to pull off of that flat stack of spring coils to flex the other direction.

Please tell us who the “influencer” was who nailed the dueling tree with a 50 BMG.

I saw one of the Dupont hand traps in the NRA museum in Springfield, MO, last week. We enjoyed our stay in Charleston, leaving today for North Carolina. Lucked out on the weather, wasn't too hot or too humid, thanks for arranging it!

I love the joy in these so much. Good to see you guys laughing. Also, Week-Wook.
PS if you do an It's a trap version of the C&Rsenal T-shirts the little face logos on the arm need to be reversed, with Othais grinning and slightly shaggy and Mae in a cap.

Ya, it's hard to put the "I'm being silly" thing in a comment. I was completely joking.

They are, unfortunately, keeping firearms out of these so that Youtube doesn't demonetize them. I'd like to see them shooting the targets, as well.
But, we can look forward to the shotgun series.

A month into this and it just dawned on me that ALL the throws are wasted. :-) Somebody oughta should be shooting them clays with WW1 shotguns maybe? Keep up this interesting and entertaining series, please.
