When it comes to Daenerys casting out Ser Jorah, I actually think she should have taken the opportunity to have him as a spy. Considering that he could go back to King's Landing with a pardon, I would have taken that advantage and sent him back there with the condition that he is to report back on a regular basis with updates regarding the Lannisters. For example, Daenerys probably doesn't know if Joffrey is alive or dead and that Tywin is defacto ruling King's landing.

If Sansa had been smart, she would have had Baelish beheaded or thrown through the moon door, probably would have been declared new Lady of the Vale and had her own Knights to protect her and fight to reclaim the North. How smart is she again?

In any relationship, if the betrayer doesn't confess and the other party finds out, it shows that the guilty party would probably do it again. You at least get the chance to keep some trust if you confess.
