Dev Log: #32

It's been a hot minute since we last had a dev log, it's not that I don't want to keep you guys updated on progress, but with monthly updates it's hard to find the time to squeeze in a dev log since a new release is constantly upon you guys.
That being said, I've been working overtime in the Nephilim cave (my office) to ensure 2025 is our most content dense year since release!
But Buu! That's crazy, your regular monthly updates since is already on par with the biggest devs out there!
I know, I know. But with you guys and your generous support, how can I not want to produce more? It's hella motivating to say the least! We're closing in on the milestone for 2025 which is a baffling 300 Patreon members!
Not too long ago I announced that so far, the average update size for 2025 is roughly 650 renders, which is more than double our regular size, every month!
I am currently working on renders for the September update and it has already surpassed that render count as well, so I can guarantee that at the very least our large updates will continue through September, but who are we kidding? With you guys continued support and recommendations of Nephilim I will be aiming to keep the update sizes on the larger side for all of 2025!
So yeah, I suppose that is what I had to inform you with this time, I suppose it was a little less technical dev log with exact numbers and more of a broad spectrum one.
I look forward to seeing how you guys enjoy chapter 6 as we progress through Aruna island and intertwine our life with the locals while we uncover the mysteries of the island.
You can expect chapter 6 to either end with the September or October update.
Then we'll finally head into our very last chapter for season 1!
I have a great many things planned for chapter 7, so much that I actually believe it will end up being the largest chapter of season 1, but only time will tell!
Thank you for all of your support, unlike so many others who simply say the words, I like to put my money where my mouth is so to speak, which is why you guys are being showered in content!
If nothing else, just know that I am incredibly grateful that you guys are following the journey and making it possible to even create such an in-depth story to begin with.

You have: Solid character design, a Rich and Diverse World, Progression through the game feels comfortable (pace of the story and development feels right and makes sense without sacrificing the other elements,) and your story so far is impressive! Sure, there is an excessive amount of the MC just kissing his LI's almost to the point of madness at times but if my only complaint is that some kissing scenes feel like filler then honestly Im not complaining; usually I would be frustrated with unrealistically dense MC or a far too excessive use of comedy but you have done a good job and I would honestly play this game without an adult content (please dont remove/reduce said adult content.) Keep up the great work, you have made a fan and a supporter out of me as long as you continue to develop this gem!

2025-03-26 00:07:35 +0000 UTCIt is not a weird thought as airships do exist in the world of Nephilim, but they are expensive and require a great deal of tinkering expertise, so it likely isn't something the pirates will be doing but we will get to experience airships later in the story.
