1:16: It's oft-stated that the line between RDJ and Tony Stark is razor-thin to non-existent. The overlap between Jeff Goldblum and the Grandmaster is complete. 3:59: Tony in the moment where he first lays eyes upon Val is definitely reminding himself he is devoted to Pepper. But, worry not, Tones, Valkyrie has that effect on us all. 5:09: Snuffy. It's a Sesame Street reference. I assume Korg in the bottomless car is a Flintstones reference. This show is chillless. 7:07: Ma'am, ma'am, ma'am, ma'am, during a scene with a love hotel, your room turns itself pink? The sense of humor of your malfunctioning electronics rivals your own. 7:59: I love the detail that in an election was obviously rigged, Korg still managed to be one of the 9 people who actually voted for the Grandmaster. He does not have a good track history with democracy. @11:56: I think everyone showed up for the race because they were summoned by the Grandmaster. It was supposed to be a 1v1, but GM ignored that completely. @13:48: We should all strive for the level of optimism where Greta Gerwig, Margot Robbie, and Ryan Gosling all survive the Snap. @14:32: Maybe it's because they named them after a lovable TV character, but I'm like really sad about how the pain the alien elephants are going through. I can kind of understand why they delayed this one. It would very jokey, and they would have to put several episodes in between it and the Season 1 finale due to the tone shift.
