But I think you're right that it's more a Vietnamese thing. My kid taught English near Saigon/Ho Chi Minh City and the variety of ways to load a scooter was pretty impressive for two little tires.

Actually it reminded me of my first job at a meat processing plant. The floors were always questionable on a great day. If meat dropped on the filthy floor we'd look around to see if the USDA meat inspector was around. If not, brush it off and send it down the line to New York City..!! LOLOLOL
