Dear Patrons of a certain tier!

Here's an inside look at how the Worms cutscenes were brought up to date, and the challenges faced. I won't be sharing this on my social media, although it is live on Mat Recardo's channel. Either way, enjoy!

Also, nothing concrete yet, but it looks like I'll be donating the main machine to The National Videogame Museum in the UK. Better still, they're close to Team17, so it's kind of going home...

I'm going to hold some of the memorabilia back though, for a major contest, a part of which will be Patreon exclusive 😊

Finally, I've had long and interesting discussions with the Internet Archive about how to present everything. More soon!

Now I must go; I feel a bit funny... I think Armageddon Worms...

I've got to credit NewTek for keeping the compatibility. Pretty incredible. Also they've been super friendly about the idea of me sharing their software for free!

That's great! If they don't provide some I might take you up on that. Or you can just do some stealth reconnaissance anyway 😉

Thanks for sharing that BTS. There was clearly a lot of “model upgrading” that went into getting enough detail for HD. I’m still impressed the 20 year old project/models open in modern software! Ewen PS: sounds a very promising potential recipient of the archive.

I live in Sheffield, where the NVM is located and have visited several times. If you would like some pictures and/or video when the machine is safely in its new home, I can probably arrange that. :)
