Poll: Video length vs. frequency
Added 2019-06-27 20:17:56 +0000 UTCDear Patrons,
The "Worms" video is nearly done - it's pretty epic! I hope to upload it later today or early tomorrow for patrons on the early access tier.
But it's looking to be about 25 minutes long, which does raise a question. I personally prefer to tell "the whole story" in one video, rather than splitting them into chunks and not getting to the point in part 1. But for those (rarer) projects, it means skipping a weekly video release to give me time to edit the whole project in one go.
What would you prefer?
A: 25 minute video that gets to the end of the project in one go, but possibly means a week without a video, as it might take 2 weeks to make.
B: Two 12 minute videos, released weekly, but the first video will end without a conclusion / on a cliffhanger.
Thanks for your input, and stay tuned!

2019-06-29 03:56:55 +0000 UTC15 minutes is a good limit. It allows for a quick video while eating lunch or just before bed. If this makes two videos then it makes two videos. I have a 52-minute video from Jan Beta in my watch later list at the moment that I'm just having difficulty even clicking on to get started.
