Blog: The Super Mario World video is now live! (05/02/22 - 05/06/22)

Hey gang! I've got a non-traditional blog this week because...I had a pretty non-traditional work week. So let's dive in.
This past weekend, I attended the Midwest Gaming Classic in Milwaukee, WI. I had a blast and even got to meet a few of you! Thank you to everyone who stopped by my table and said hello. After the past few years, it is nice to talk to fans face-to-face again.
I flew home Sunday night, and on Monday, it was back to work. I had to review the audio mix for the episode. We made a few modifications and called it done. However, I ran into an issue: I was getting a copyright claim from a song in the video.
Now, I pay quite a bit per year for royalty-free music for the channel. So I knew this had to be a mistake. And it was. Unfortunately, the company said it would take 72 hours to get fixed. I didn't have that kind of time. So I had to replace a music track in the video. I sent it back for audio mixing and got it re-uploaded. Luckily, no copyright claims!
Today (Friday), I officially launched the project I've been working on for so long: The Story of Super Mario World. I'm so incredibly happy with the reaction and how the video turned out. Once again, thank you all for your support and generosity during the making of this monstrous video.
I'm taking next week off to rest, so there won't be a blog. And then it's back at it with more videos. I have a new schedule in mind I'd like to try that will help ensure a steady flow of content. Stay tuned! Have a great weekend.
