The 'Nintendo vs Video Game Rentals' has been our most popular video in the past 6 months! I think it turned out pretty well. It wasn't long enough to be a multi-part episode, but it also wasn't short. I'd like to do more episodes like this in the future.
If you haven't noticed, I have added some new goals for the Patreon. I figured we should always be striving to make the show better, so why not?
So what are we working on now?
Console Wars Book Review - Written by Blake Harris, Console Wars tells the story of the battle between Sega and Nintendo in the 80's & 90's. It's a huge book at over 600 pages. I'll have to get creative on how I review this, since there are no visuals, but I'll figure something out!
Star Tropics - I am finally in a position where I feel I have enough new information to make this episode! I was fortunate enough to speak with 2 former Nintendo of America employees who worked on the game. Right now I'm capturing footage from the game, then I'll start writing up the script!
Famicom Disk System - The Famicom Disk System recently celebrated it's 30 year anniversary, so I figured why not give you the full scoop on this accessory? Most of the research notes are done. Right now I'm trying to confirm a few facts, then I'll start writing.
