Update - Emi's naked on the balcony?!

tl;dr - I've been working on a mini-map and cheats.

I felt like doing a bit of work on some post-sex scene Emi content this week, so here's a little sample of that. The real pain with any of these images is just that I have to have day and night versions of them if they can trigger at all times of day, which takes more work and file size in the game.

Working on a mini-map

My latest goal has been, by request, to add in a mini-map to the apartment to replace the directional arrows for getting around in that area. Actually, that wasn't precisely what the request was - it was more that people were complaining about getting around the apartment and asking for just a list of the rooms, so I thought the best way to do it would be to make a mini-map instead that you can just click on to move around.

I've designed it now, although it does require some work to make it nice and functional. I suspect I could also make it look a little prettier, but that can easily come later.

The big pain with it is that it's going to break a lot of saved games (any save made on a standard apartment room screen) - I'm very sorry about that, I didn't plan to make this change or I would have given a warning about it.

Hoping to add cheats soon

I've been looking into how to add a text input so I can make cheats available in the game, finally. I think I've roughly worked out how to do it, so I'll get to that once I've got the mini-map working! I had the foresight, at least, to already build into the system the capacity for the stats to be boosted just from simple cheats, so once I've worked out the text inputs (which might be quite simple) it'll probably be functional quite quickly.

I should point out that the game isn't actually balanced for cheats, no matter what frustrated players might sometimes think, and they might make the flow of the game a little illogical at times, so if you decide to use them don't complain about things seeming a little screwy from time to time!

I worked on a bit of writing and image design too, but I can't remember specifically what right now - doesn't really matter; I'll talk more about that another time. For now, does the mini-map sound good to you? Do you use cheats in the game? What do you think of the pic? Let me know in the comments!
