Question for our supporters

As you know, a lot of people on Patreon lost a lot of supporters. Everyone is afraid of a recession or losing their jobs. Each country and every person is getting hit in a different way so we understand it, however, we're getting dangerously close to a threshold in which having the team we currently have would be unsustainable and in order to be able to continue producing the game we would have to make a lot of compromises. Let's all try avoiding that shall we?

Maybe an idea.. You could add a tier of $2 and just politely ask people donating atm. $1 to change to $2, explaining again why etc. For me extra benefits aren't necessary. I know I would be happy to be a $2 patreon for you, but more would be too expensive for me. Advantages are : 1. you're not forcing anyone to donate more. 2. You won't lose patreons who's max. budget is $1. But it's up to you ;)

2020-04-17 17:14:25 +0000 UTCIt's a tough place because sweetening the pot on different tiers and all can help but depending on how things ultimately play out, people may have to drop out of necessity. In the US we're creeping toward depression territory so a few bucks for the continued adventures of Ayame might be a bridge too far. Any consideration of some sort of supplementary income? Maybe an online store with shirts and stuff? Maybe monthly raffles where $1 gets one entry for a monthly prize (your name as a character or an easter egg in game of your choosing). It can be on top of the normal rewards, just extras for those who want to chip in more for something a little outside the reward tier norm? Just trying to think a bit differently I guess. I know you have a roadmap you're trying to adhere to but considering even AAA game developers are changing plans right now, I think it'd probably be a ok for everyone else to adjust. Or help the revolution to topple world governments. I mean, whichever is easier for you.
