Unless I’m doing something for my close circle out of love and joy, or genuinely wanting to help someone random; I do good to get a return in some form of compensation. I think all of us can think on times where we did something we would hate done to us. I don’t fully believe in karma, because just like religion, it’s a made up concept to explain our world. But most people I respect believe in fairness, kindness, generosity and genuinity, so I feel like there is some truth to it. But also…im tryna cheat and finesse people on a daily - not sure how to keep this balance… I’ve been talking a lot with my brother about playing with feelings and using dumb ppl. Even if it doesn’t bite you later, any1 would feel shitty to get cheated on…im not sure I want to hurt sm1 for some of my fun. U kinda takes to Cas abt cheating but never abt the feelings of the person getting played but idek how to judge that myself so…

Kindness comes from loving people. If you genuinely care about and love people. Thats when acts of kindness come out. So if you’re trying to become more kind. You gotta learn to love people. I agree with the last point. For me it’s not so much the works of karma or spirituality. But kinda like if u buy a certain car, you’ll start to notice the same type of car everywhere you go, even though people were always driving it before, the only difference is that now you have it so u notice it. That being said, when u actively and passively give off good energy you’ll notice it more when it’s given back and you’ll appreciate it too.

Bye this is why i became a patron. Ive been thinking a lot about this because i realize i do a lot of "good" things for validation. I dont even know if people can be good. Because even if you do something solely from the kindness of your heart, its because you want that and so its still selfish. But then again people make good and bad as concepts so there have to be an idea of a good person and people who follow that. I guess with dave chappelle there was still a risk involved in his choices and he could have also gone the other way and gotten the same results. Maybe it was more a choice for his own mental health and maybe a part of him believes his image even if everything about him says the opposite. Then again probably everyone else in his position would be the same. So i would say his legend status is earned. Its interesting though that he seems to be conflicted about it and tries to bring these profound deep lessons to the public. I dont think its just him wanting to seem deep, he seems to have a genuine wanting for doing something spiritual (forgive the woowoo) and he does seem to be doing things behind the scenes. When it comes to pursuing money, yeah that makes sense but maybe financial freedom is just one part of freedom. what about being free of shame or impulses (if thats even possible)? It can get hard to not become corrupted or be constantly thinking about it to the point where it takes over your life and then youre no freer. But then again you need money to live. I find it helpful to see money as nothing more than a tool. But you dont have to define your life around it or have it be on your mind constantly. I think pursuing fame is empty for sure because youre telling the world who you are but its an idealized version and its not the real you but just part of it, and getting validation from it so people confirm that idea in your head. So you start believing that *is* you and it becomes a kind of trap.
