PC 72 : Jay-Z, Kanye West - N**as in Paris. I would recommend the music video. It's fun to watch

Jim

PC 72 Jay Z feat. UGK - Big Pimpin or Missy Elliott - Get Ur Freak On Dad asked if the Middle Eastern sound was a trademark of Timbaland. The sound on Make Me Better was if the era, but it's also a sound that Timbaland is familiar with. He has sampled Middle Eastern records with Big Pimpin and Get Ur Freak On being two of his most notable records.

Dance with me - 112

Amelia

Deja Vu 💃🏾

Adrienne

PC72: Immortal Technique- You Never Know *since you listened to dance with the devil this one is a must also. You Never Know is somewhat a true story. From an article from brownpride magazine - "With 'You Never Know' it was a story that was based on my life and what I went though but things had to be changed, moved out of chronological order, and something's had to be added." - Immortal Technique another good underground song is Binary Star-Reality Check

PC 72 Gym Class Heroes - Cupid's Chokehold / Breakfast in America This song was the breakout single on their debut album that album was released independently. They re-recorded a slightly more "upbeat" version for their major label debut. I'm a fan of both versions, but the snob in me wants to suggest the original lol.

You’re winning!!! Who says monogamy’s the only way? Being naughty pays off sometimes! 😂😉😘

TheKitt’sPajamas

I know everybody’s requests under that theme would go crazy! I’m excited just thinking about it. 🥰

TheKitt’sPajamas

It’s Bad Girl ft Missy Elliot for me! 🙌🏽🔥🔥🔥🔥 In fact the entire Welcome To The Dollhouse album is one of my fav albums of all time (yes you read correctly 😂)! That whole album goes soooooooooo hard! It’s a masterpiece as far as I’m concerned. 💯

TheKitt’sPajamas

All of this! Same!

TheKitt’sPajamas

Blow The Whistle 🔥

PC72: (Certified Bangers) Beyoncé (ft JayZ) - Deja Vu *Of course with any Bey song I highly recommend the music video. She SNAPPED in the video/on the song! I’m talking about electrifying my soul! 🙌🏽 OR Missy Elliot - Hot Boyz remix (ft Nas, Eve, and QTip) Hey fam… ppl who like these songs, comment which one you prefer. ♥️😘

TheKitt’sPajamas

Love Bilal. Love that whole album, every single song. Sooo appreciate you adding the surprise listen to Reminisce. Love all his other albums as well. Yes he actually does have a Tiny Desk and many other breathtaking live performances. He has some legendary live performances and songs with other artists as well. One of my favs is the one I requested last week, Cosmic Journey with Solange. A rabbit whole dive would certainly be alright with me. 🥰

TheKitt’sPajamas

Totally from left field here but I'm gonna go with Adele - Rolling in the Deep. No explanation necessary with 2.6B views!!

Certified Bangers suggestions: E-40 U and dat**** OR Too Short-Blow the Whistle

Janhann Turner

So nice played it twice! Glad you guys enjoyed my pick, Geto Boys.

Anesa D

I love “Sometimes”…such a great song. That was Questlove on the drums.

Adrienne

PC#72: Tracey Lee - The Theme (It's Party Time) or Mr. Cheeks - Lights, Cameras, Action!

Robin

Thanks for choosing Sometimes! He was a young man when he wrote that song and seemed to be going through a lot of emotions…thinking about his relationship, thinking about life, etc… and the music kinda changed according to his thoughts, I think. The first line of the song is: “this is a song that makes me spill out all my guts….sometimes”. It was therapeutic to me when it came out in the early 2000s and it still is, sometimes. 😊 I love the fusion of musical styles soul, jazz, scatting. I feel like some of it was improvised and coming straight from the heart!

Jen M

Still Fly - Big Tymers

Jiminy

PC72: Youngbloodz ft Lil John - Damn!

Adrienne

Awww…I’m reading your comment as I’m listening to it. 😭😭😭

Jen M

PC #72: - "Smells Like Teen Spirit" Nirvana

Tnulb

so glad u listened to my suggestion, fourth of july! the album focuses on his mothers death and a trip his family took one time. fourth of july is him having a conversation with his mother when she passed which what inspired the name of the album and she did in fact pass away because of cancer! also, his mother left him and his siblings when he was 1 year old and he mainly lived with his father, but her death deeply affected him still!

ali

My PC suggestion for certified bangers: Sleep On It by Danity Kane Sounds sleepy, but it’s a banger! Produced by Scott Storch

Jen M

Ok, wait! Dad was on to something, I literally just suggested Soundtrack songs for a theme on the All The Stars video. 😅 Not necessarily movie theme, but just good songs that were featured on a movie soundtrack.

Jen M

PC72: scenario by a tribe, called quest is my certified banger suggestion

Anthony Mendoza

ayyyy thanks for reacting to Japanese Breakfast :) glad you enjoyed. (btw she is Korean not Japanese lol).
