So Iâm a bit late to the party, making this comment on Feb 23, 2024. But I swear I am going to riot if Netflix does not renew this for a 4th season. Freaking Grace & Frankie had 7 seasons on Netflix. Alice stated that she wants to do a 4th season plus an epilogue. We better get this. â€ïžâ€ïž

2023-08-29 22:22:40 +0000 UTCThe red gallery where Charlie feints, and the portrait of James I that Mr Farouk poses with, are both in Dulwich Picture Gallery in London, so the other people were probably legit extras. I think the fake people Joe was mentioning were in the sculpture gallery where Nick phones his dad. That scene is definitely filmed in the Louvre, and prior to Nick's phone call there are loads of tiny people milling around on the balconies in the background. Then after Nick & Charlie get shouted at and run away, they've all magically vanished

2023-08-27 18:52:19 +0000 UTCIt should be noted that a fair amount of the scenes set in the âLouvreâ werenât actually filmed there, since they were extremely limited on time and the amount of people they could bring in. The red gallery scenes for example are filmed at different museums, and the cafe scene was as well. The TaoElle stuff was in the Louvre and so was the Nick and Charlie French scene. I donât know if anything else was (the Mona Lisa part looked like it could have been a green screen).

2023-08-20 00:58:06 +0000 UTCI've seen a video of Joe and Kit reacting to S2 scenes. For the Louvre, they commented that it was weird seeing people with them in the museum. Evidently the building was closed when they shot so just the cast was present. The background crowd was added in post.

I donât know why it took me so long for that to kick in, except maybe that the two things are three episodes apart from each other.

It's so good to see Charlie finally starting to open up about how he feels to Nick, it means he knows he can totally trust him. If this little bit got you hard I don't know how you're going to cope with episode 8, just make sure you have a box of tissues to hand đą

The painting that Elle is looking at that is the obvious inspiration for her art college application piece The foundation work for Farouk and Ajayi when they are walking up the Eiffel Tower and in the Louve Really just great storytelling. I give it 11 stars out of 5.

So far, you are the only person whoâs reacted to this episode who has included the young Charlie and Tao scene, and I remember thinking that young Tao would get along quite well with Even Bech Naesheim. đ Not surprisingly, every change that is made from the original comic is made for a purpose, even if that purpose is not immediately obvious. And thatâs why I am glad that Alice is the one who wrote the screenplay.

Absolutely love the hints of character we see from Mr Farouk during the Paris trip. Almost my favourite bit.... almost. But there are alot of almost my favourite bits during these episodes.

I think you can really feel the close bond between Kit and Joe and they are both such wonderful, sensitive actors.

2023-08-18 07:21:33 +0000 UTCItâs quite typical for Ben and his whole demeanor and way of thinking when he sits down with Nick saying stuff like âwhat if I want him backâ or âyou stole him from meâ or âyou got in his headââŠ. He doesnât even see Charlie as someone with a free will! Like Nick said âyou like having control over himâ, thatâs exactly what it is. I loved this episode and I canât wait to watch your reaction to episode 6 cause thatâs actually one of my favorites this season (apart from ep. 1,5 and 8) đ„°

2023-08-18 06:42:51 +0000 UTCJackie, I have a feeling you will find this tid bit of trivia enjoyable: the guard in the Louve who tells Nick and Charlie 'No' is Euros the Director with his cameo this season. (which also suggests that Patrick will have a cameo in s3 to complete the trio of Alice in s1, Euros in s2...) Also Kit and Joe deserve so much praise, but in this instance especially Kit. I can't get over how naturally he delivers his monologues each time. It never feels prewritten. Comes across like he is forming the thoughts on the spot. Example is how naturally we all felt him about to say 'I love you' with nothing but body language đ„°
