Guys which way do you prefer for a reference sheet?

Should I make the tail kinda transparent for the back drawing or I draw the dress detail separately in a balloon or something next to it?

Estou fazendo o desenho de referência da frente, lado e costas da personagem nova e o rabo gordinho vai cobrir a parte de trás do vestido. Deixo o rabo meio transparente no desenho de costas ou desenho os detalhes do vestido separadamente em um balão ou algo próximo a ele?

I think either way is fine as long as you explain what's going on. If you go the transparent tail, I'd try to make only the area overlapping the dress transparent. If the tail or dress is elaborate, it might be better to go with the latter plan.
