My PC briefly died on me this morning. On one hand, that's no surprise, I've had her for more than a decade and despite the fact that I've taken good care of her, she's gonna need to rest soon. On the other, I was absolutely terrified because all my files were on there and I hadn't made a backup because I was in the middle of writing a chapter. I managed to revive her though. Shoutout to my senior high school computer professor who taught me the real essential life skills - the ins and outs of a CPU.
