There is history behind every beverage.

Nestled in the mountains, watered by fresh alpine streams, the pure rice is harvested, blessed and stored.

While the snow piles up, the Toji works an artisan's magic. Come spring, the brewing is done, fields are sown and the visitors arrive.

Samurai to collect the Lord's dues, barrels of a grand vintage gain great favour with court. The merchants who haggle over the costs and devalue all drops, still never leaving without loaded wagons. Mountain travelers, dropping in for a meal and a drink.

Then there are also the less savory visitors, priests and bandits alike threatening misfortune if an offering is not made for protection. The Toji knows the serious threats, accommodates them and sends the pretenders packing.

Here is our Sake Brewery map set, catering to a critically unrepresented genre, the non-beer brewery. Safe to say, your players have probably never adventured in a sake brewery and will appreciate the change of booze.
