Firstly, wanted to talk about the new-ish cutscene system that the game's using. It's a custom framework of sorts that uses Yarn Spinner (from the devs behind Night in the Woods).
Previously in other convention demos, we only showcased a few Comicbook Cutscenes that included voice acting and subtitles, and then a couple of one off conversations with Cumuli and Pile individually.
With our new framework, in it's current state, we can mix together comic panels with "in-engine" cutscenes! Meaning we can show text, comics and emotes at anytime! Still in early works, but a big burden out of the way.
Also, here's a bunch of "leaked" items I dropped on discord a few days ago! Was meaning to post these like a week or two ago, and then the whole Unity Thing happened, so was distracted lol
