Here's a picture of my set list from the first tour I ever did where I was playing my own music. This was before my first record came out, so at this point no one had heard any of my songs! Broken Record, Spend Some Time, and Just Right would show up on Maybe Trapped Mostly Troubled, but the rest of my set I had to fill out with the only couple songs I could play on guitar. I had just started learning earlier that year so I couldn't even play many of the songs I would have liked to (like Sorry I'm Not Sorry and Make Me a Robot). Anyway it's fun to reflect on, how much more I've learned as a player, performer, and songwriter. If you're still at the beginning of a new skill (And bummed on how boring/frustrating it is to be bad at something), I'd tell you imagine how much you can improve in a year. Just do it a little bit at a time, all it takes is practice.
also PS I'm not even sure what the song "ten" is! It's completely abandoned my memory. Pretty funny that I used to think it was so good I would play it second to last and now ????
