Really happy with how this turned out. The lighting, the model, everything is so much better.

Not sure if I mentioned in the previous Hornet post, but I created the bulbs with the glowing bugs in them from scratch. It took a bit to find the best shader node setup so that it not only looked like convincing glass but light also passed through it. For this one I also modeled the string from scratch; it's a curve with a Depth setting added to t, plus a normal map to make it look more like string/silk instead of a flat model. Blender allowed me to add and remove vertices from the curve so I could wrap it around Hornet's fingers. I love Blender a lot more than SFM if you couldn't tell lol. The amount of control it gives me over what I can do with my art and animations is unreal. Image pack is
