Monthly Developer Update: Project Management

"We had a motto in the Covid-19 pandemic: why spend countless hours playing a game, when we could actually create one?"

Join Team FOLON's Project Manager, Dean "Prilladog" Carter, as he tells the story of project managing Fallout: London. From how he joined the project in 2019, to the trials and tribulations of project management, the "crayon eating year", and advice to anyone considering doing it themselves.

This is the fifth of our monthly behind-the-scenes videos! In these videos, you'll get an inside look at the development of Fallout: London, including sneak peeks at the upcoming DLCs and insights from the heads of departments. They'll be sharing what it took to bring this ambitious project to life and the challenges they faced along the way.

Your support makes all of this possible, and we can't wait to take you on this journey with us. Stay tuned for more exclusive content in the coming months! Stay safe, and remember. Mind the gap.

Hope you have roped into a new thing. The game (not a mod), should make sure you are all okay. Best FO game ever IMO....but sucking a few barnacle bomber....friging insane mines running at me...really>? Okay, way around found...tricky dicky

When I talk to people about Fallout London, especially non-gamers, I always mention that one of the most impressive aspects of the project is that it was all made by volunteers, and how keeping people on track must be a lot more difficult when you don't pay them. Kudos!

As ever thanks to all of Team FOLON for getting the project over the line so successfully, I can't even to begin how tough it was to bring all the different people and timezones together and manage it all, well done and looking forward to what comes next, Mind the Gap 🇬🇧
