"Most Wanted" #1 - we need your ideas!
Added 2020-01-26 01:34:16 +0000 UTC
We have loved the #makethisbattle process so far - its delivered so many new ideas each month. And we are gonna keep it rolling this year. But, we want to enhance the process even further in 2020.
So, we are gonna trial a second method of finding the very best match-up ideas - which we'll call #mostwanted. Every 1-2 weeks we are gonna post up a character here on Patreon and ask you to name potential opponents to face that particular character.
After 1 or 2 days we will look through the ideas and select our five favourite options. We will then create a poll over on the ERB YouTube page and see what the wider fanbase think of your ideas.
For this first edition - Peter has selected Taylor Swift. He feels she is someone who has great potential to be in a future ERB, but he's not really sure who she could or should face. So... let's see what you can come up with!!
You can post your ideas for opponents in the comments below, or post & discuss them in the '#matchup-ideas' channel on the Discord or email them to erbpatreon@gmail.com (we will read through all the suggestions)
In approx 48 hours we will create a poll over on our YouTube channel. So don't delay!
Lady Gaga and then have Madonna clean up in round 3

Taylor Swift vs Stevie Nicks, cuz taylor writes songs about her exes immediately after a breakup whereas stevie nix made her ex fleetwood mac perform in a song about him. Could make for good disses against swift.

Too bad it's not possible to do early music Taylor (Country) vs. Present music Taylor (Pop).

Came here to post this. I wasn't sure Jonathan Swift would be popular/well-known enough to carry it, but Oppenheimer worked fine even though half the reactors had no idea who he was.

Yes! It'd be like Billie vs T swift and they argue over who's a bigger influence and then like Beyonce rolls up and lays down some bars and they all brag about their product sales and magazine spreads and music awards and then Sally Ride lands on the scene and unloads about what it means to inspire and what's really important for young people to aspire to. That'd be dope, informational, AND timely.

Oh yeah that's a great idea, especially if this gets turned into a battle royale with a lot of so-called 'female icons' like Billie Ellish, Madonna, etc, and then they come in and school them all

How about someone who's an inspiration to young women everywhere but not for dating habits, clothing, and make up, but actually something valuable... like Sally Ride or Rosie the Riveter?

Swift should definitely go against someone other than just another pop singer. The coolest ideas I’ve seen on here are Henry VIII, Scott Pilgrim, Emily Dickinson, and Judy Garland.

Fan or not, Taylor Swift's been a powerhouse in pop for more than a decade now, so its definitely hard to find a worthy contender -- So I'm throwing a not-so-obvious vote for Eleven from Stranger Things, if only for the chance to see Eleven crush Taylor both lyrically and telekinetically d:
