Pretty Fascinating Results

Hey Laowinners!

In my last video https://youtu.be/yCnnPf2OnHo we exposed Wu Maos, and how they change and operate. This is the first time I've seen Google really address this, and for the first time, I am proud to say that the majority of Wu Mao comments were actually placed in spam!

I think it's amazing how quickly it picked up on some of the trends, because Wu Mao that I would typically see in the comments section were placed into spam. You can see some funny trends in the photos I linked above. Zhaoxun Yan posted the same thing again and again, but the frequency of his posts led pretty much all of his comments on my videos to be flagged.

Perhaps the most interesting thing is YouTube's related channel section. The user, Made in China, who has repeatedly claimed to not be a paid Wu Mao commenter has been outed. If you look at the related channels on his page, they are both the state run CCP mouthpiece channels of the Chinese government.

I think the future of non-government backed free thought media is going to get more and more popular due to the transparency on social media forums like YouTube. When YouTube enacts polices that governments are forced to label their videos as wholly or partly funded by themselves, it helps people to distinguish what or what not to trust (whether it be Asia, or the west for that matter)

Hooray for free speech.

Wu Mao Shi Ting has arrived on scene.

The part I find the most ironic is how willing wu maos are to break Chinese rules about internet to spam someone else about even remotely close to what they would consider rules (though you're not).
