What's going on with Fan Bing Bing?

For those of you who don't know who Fan Bing Bing is, she's pretty much the most famous actress in China. There is a very strange thread I was reading in Chinese (now removed on Weibo of course) that kind of predicted her disappearance, saying that the current leadership in China is going after influential people who could potentially sway public opinion and threaten the parties supremacy, with the guise of charges like tax evasion etc... They also predicted that Jack Ma, the CEO of Alibaba, and one of China's richest men would step down... which he just did.
Things are getting really weird in these random crackdowns, and I am curious to see who runs afoul of the law next.

In the US your celebrity doesn't protect you from tax evasion any more that it does in China..... Ask Wesley Snipes.... The secrecy of it what is concerning. She is probably in a Hotel or Home Containment for the time being. Mistreatment is very unlikely.
