This - like several others - fits into Joe's universe where some of Marvel's classic characters are natives of England so that they're more accessible to Harry Potter and his friends. Accordingly, we see things like "Deane" instead of Dane because it's a Cornish surname, and Wanda and Peter "Leyshon" of the Kale. I think I've actually got Wanda coming up next month; I'll need to check my notes.
