Seemingly indeed pretending to be under to some degree or forcing herself to snap out of it. To be fair we haven't gotten a detailed guide on the change process only seen a few people get affected. So if there are rules/stronger wills are more likely to snap out of it we wouldn't know... The question now is if the mental changes are all that are undone, and if what's undone is based off of a set range from the book of just undoes all of the mental effects period? Everyone coming out seems confused so I think it's safe to say that the bimbos are oblivious to the book's existence minus what happened this chapter. So that's also something to consider.

2024-07-05 22:49:50 +0000 UTCWell, seeing as how the only thing that is being reversed right now, is the mental states that are given to Barbie and Chelsea, and seeing as on how odd Bernice’s eyes are looking in the first panel, which can be argued that being that way because of the Book not truly sinking down yet until the next two panels, so maybe this all means that the changed bodies will be a permanent effect in this outcome.

2024-07-05 20:01:55 +0000 UTCNow, with Barbie and Chelsea snapped out of their trances, that should make one assume if The Book is truly done for now, or if it does have a true form after all of this, since it seems to be cursing itself for having such a fragile form, but oh well, that’ll be next week’s call to even answer that.
