Hello All!
The relationships in this show are truly brilliant and it's so enjoyable seeing the dynamic between Etta and her parents, whilst still getting info on what happened when she was 3. Their worlds are just so different and we can now see where they are different due to their environments BUT we can also see how alike they are too in nature and it's fantastic to witness. Great start to this new season!

Just a tiny detail that I've found interesting - Peter's t-shirt is a different colour in his memory than in Olivia's. Rather than a continuity error I like to think it's on purpose because of how unreliable our memories are. Just a subtle way of showing their dubious accuracy. So far Etta seems more like Peter (or Walternate tbh) in her personality. She has Olivia's looks tho.

2025-07-07 08:02:24 +0000 UTC(1) The lab is easily my favorite location in this show so I love that they found a way into it. And I love having the amber in the background. I don't know how fully explain it but there's something about the yellowish orange of those scenes that I just love. The aesthetic of it is beautiful. (2) Etta looks so much like Olivia but I also feel like her personality is so much like Peter. It's like she got so much from both parents. Even just the way that Etta reacted to seeing Simon reminds me of Peter. That fiery personality especially when it comes to protecting those that they love. And as you mentioned Peter knew just how to calm her down and I think that shows a strong understanding. Like I get what you're feeling but right now we need to move forward.
