Hello all of you beautiful humans! I have another pilot reaction for you all which I am a little nervous about sharing because I get a tad emotional, & by a tad, I mean a lot!
This show clearly explores very heavy topics & hits right in the heart & feels! I have only seen the one episode & I'm already so emotionally drained haha. I do think this show is something i'd watch 100%, I love these types of shows BUT I know it'll be heavy & exhausting on the heart to watch so I need to really consider what I choose to do.

I would suggest doing what you did a few months ago and post a list of shows and let us vote on what we would like to see you react to, as I thought that worked quite well. Vikings, The Last Kingdom, Bones, This Is Us, etc. Most votes wins and second most is also added. This will keep the roster full and, as I said in a recent comment, the double uploads per week is a great way to get through the longer series' (particularly Bones). Yeah, this series is excellent and well worth the journey; I looked forward to it every week. I will say that later in the series, I think starting in season 4, they did have some episodes that I personally didn't care for, but that's an individual thing. Hell, there are several episodes of Supernatural that I don't rewatch, and that's one of my favorite shows. If you do decide to react to it, or it wins 1st or 2nd in a poll, I'll ship a case of tissues to you. No, really, this show will stay with you for the rest of your life. It's that good. Thanks Dak.

I really hope you decide to react to the rest of it as no one reacts to it and I'd be really interested in seeing your reaction to the rest. It definitely breaks my heart. I cry most episodes. It does deal with some pretty serious topics, and in my opinion, they do a good job of it. Plus, the actors are all brilliant. So I would LOVE it if you reacted to the rest of it. Of course, if you'd rather not watch on camera, that's fine as it does get very emotional and not everyone likes crying on camera. But I do know that a lot of us would love it if you decided to continue. :) Cuz the characters are all well developed and I love the relationships between them all. I'm pretty sure Toby was mostly joking when he was being a little pushy, as we've seen he jokes quite a bit and his jokes aren't always noticed to be jokes. Character names: Jack and Rebecca are the parents. Kevin, Kate and Randall are their kids. Beth is Randall's wife. Tess and Annie are their kids. (Tess is the older one, Annie the younger) Toby is the guy Kate went out with. William is Randall's bio Dad. Helpful? :)

As much as I would love to see you watch the rest of this, maybe it's not the best show for reactions. Up to you, definitely worth a full watch either way. Good to get the tears out!

2021-01-26 08:45:59 +0000 UTCAh man! I loveeee This is Us. I remember watching it largely for Mandy Moore wayyyy back when, and then Randall's story dragged me in because I'm adopted as well. And man, I adore the acting of literally everyone. I'd love to see more reactions, but I know it can errrrrr, take an emotional toll on most folks. Finally got my best friend involved in the most recent season since it's quite topical. If you end up watching it privately, I hope you enjoy it!

Perhaps its to do with the genre of the show or the high level of crying it tends to evoke. I've been a fan of this show since this pilot right here. Not only did it have a twist at the end that tied everything together beautifully but it was also super well acted and well written. That's the thing about the show above and beyond the sentimental, sad or happy tears. It's well written. With each episode a little bit more of the family puzzle is revealed. Opinions of characters evolve as more information is revealed. The show does a fantastic job of bouncing between different timelines where often the separate timelines of this family beautifully mirror each other. Think like how in Lucifer, the cases investigated relate in some way to Lucifer and the problem he is trying to tackle as he overcomes his severe narcissism. I would personally love it if you reacted to this show as I find it almost criminal not many do. Blindwave did for a stretch and currently JK Reacts and The Walkers React do on youtube. You'd make a wonderful addition to be honest though I absolutely see why you might be apprehensive. This show is everything life is. It's tragic, sad, heartbreaking, cringeworthy, beautiful, funny, surprising, heartwarming and revelatory. The creator, Fogelman, had a long term plan like Kripke when he came up with this. The casting is PERFECTION which really leads credence to the consistency as we the viewer skip through the decades. The writers are seriously among the best out there currently for creating a cohesive throughline of the entire family history. Characters come and go and affect things in sometimes surprising ways. If you enjoyed the twist of the pilot, I do think you'll love the show as a whole. I would love to see more reactions but if that's too much, just watch it on your own time and maybe do an update vlog every once in a while so us fans of you and the show know where you're at? :-D As always Keep Calm and Carry On!

2021-01-25 06:19:31 +0000 UTCThat was an awesome reaction! You basically cried the through the whole episode. Loved it. I was waiting throughout for when you'd realize the catch. That was really rewarding. I didn't cry as much when I first saw this, but it was pretty emotional. I thought it was really well written and the acting was top notch. The director must have been pretty awesome too. I think you should watch this, but take it in pieces maybe. I stopped watching after a while. I don't remember fully why but part of it was because it could get really heavy and I had enough drama in real life and just wanted to escape from that. Similar things happened in my family. Both my mom and my oldest sister lost their first child during, or soon after birth. It was really tough for them. I remember when it happened to my sister. It shook the whole family and we were a bit out of sorts for a while. My poor sister and her husband. They've always still recognized her birthday and they have always visited her grave every year on her birthday. Along with her 2 boys she did have later.
