Why Trubel, why??? I really don't like to see her go and I truly hope she will be okay with Josh & back with us again soon. The MOTW was a little odd but tis the season for merriness in the Grimm world. That ending with Juliette staring at the test had me shook tooooo! Next ep cant come quick enough!

Unless I missed something, shouldnt these people who have these gremlin kids know to make some fruit cake too keep their kids home? Or was the point of the church being the centre of the circle to indicate they are orphans?

2023-08-04 09:34:40 +0000 UTCThis was the Christmas episode for that year and, as Khensi mentioned, it was meant to be a bit lighthearted and cheerful (in a Grimm sort of way). The odd thing about this one is that it aired about three weeks before Christmas, but there was another episode that aired a week later. This episode didn't really move the overarching story forward, so I wish they had been flipped, but maybe it just couldn't be helped. I really liked Trubel and she added a lot to the show. I'm sad to see her move on, but... ''I feel like there's always someone at Nick and Juliette's.'' - Dakara Exactly. Josh is kinda like Groo in a way. Look, I like you guys but the bus is full my dudes. Trubel better at least come back for an episode or two, kinda like Charlie did in Supernatural (I still seethe about her death as she was my favorite side character). The MOTW were silly and 🤷♂️, I agree - but not all Christmas gifts are exciting. I mean, thanks for the scarf, but I got the damn G.I. Joe Command Center to play with right now. Anyway, they looked like Warwick Davis in the Leprechaun film series but they exfoliate, moisturize, and have monthly dermabrasion sessions. I totally forgot about Monroe's Christmas tradition and the lengths to which he goes. I'm glad that Rosalee has embraced it. I'm really curious about what this (maybe, could be, probably) pregnancy means for Juliette and what the outcome will be. There are so many more episodes in this season too! Thanks Dak!

2023-08-03 15:37:43 +0000 UTCI think the general tone of this episode was meant to be on the lighter, silly side (as with all the other Xmas episodes). I did love the touch of the more serious threat to MonRosalee to balance it out. I always thought that Trubel was brought in to be supporting grimm while Nick was dealing with what Adalind did to him, after he gets his grimm back she almost feels under-utilised in her role as a grimm. They couldn't have her help with the police cases as it would only make Wu more suspicious, and because of this she was kind of just there on these last couple of episodes (outside of helping bud). With all that said, I really did enjoy her storyline. That question you asked about the DNA when juliet briefly changed to Adalind is gonna come back and haunt ya later😂 and the showrunners never really directly address it. I always wanted them to, but oh well. All I can say without spoilers is it's about to get real bumpy and messy, stakes are getting really high. As always, enjoyed your reaction.

2023-08-02 21:04:54 +0000 UTCI always loved the relationship of Nick and Trubel. Not sure if Nick thought this but I always saw her as the little sister Nick never got to have. In truth I always thought they had some similarities in their appearance I know they are not, (to my knowledge) but still they seemed close in that way like a brother and sister would be. Especially since they share being a Grimm.
