I survived season 5 - just about! Here are my thoughts, predictions & many feels about the epic Season 5 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer!

I'm a bit disappointed that you didn't give the character that made S5 so memorable , the Glorifiicus Glory aka the amazing Clare Kramer more credit for making the season so fantastic. She was everything that a big bad should be evil , funny & mad as a sack full of snakes . Unlike you and most buffy fans I could live without Willow & Xander . Look forward to S6 . 🥰

2023-03-24 09:40:55 +0000 UTCIt's interesting you mention 5:16 being used in schools as an educational tool, because a few places did just that in terms of first responder and medical student training. The episode was used to illustrate and help foster understanding of different grief reactions people may have come across out in the field.

2023-03-24 09:25:13 +0000 UTC5:16 is my favourite episode of the season, and also one of my favourite episodes of the entire series, for so many reasons. However it is not a favourite episode for me from the point of view that I ever really think, "Oh hey, let's sit down and watch The Body, that episode was awesome". I suppose you could say it's my favourite not so rewatchable episode.

2023-03-23 14:43:07 +0000 UTCWell I've said it multiple times.... and I'll say it again. I'm in agreement. Season 5 is one of my favourite seasons. Probably tied to it. I agree with most what you said. I fully agree that 5x16 is done masterfully. It is hands done one of the best episodes they ever made. Here's a thought on buffy comming back through some magical means though. You say you worry that she wouldn't be the same. But then again I would pose, after going through something like that, should she be the same? I would be worried if she was tbh. Something to think about :)
