Soooo never trust Kathy...she do be a monster! Always trust Buffy, that's the takeaway from this one right? I did find this episode so fun, the closeup shots had me creasing and the lil annoyances of peoples habits etc. So true to life and made me chuckle. I love seeing real life issues/obstacles being explored through a fantasy show about vampires & monsters - it's brilliant! Also...the monsters in this one were terrifying looking! I wonder if they'll rock up again at some point...

This is one of my most re-watched episodes. It's absolutely hilarious while being relatively low-stakes. It's just an easy good time.

So there will be little references and jabs throughout the two shows. And having lived in one of the real Kresge dorms, we do not claim Parker.

2022-06-13 00:03:10 +0000 UTCGreat episode. I love how they toe (haha get it, toenails) the line between a shitty roommate, normal issues, and the demonic stuff. Willow's comment: "Okay, later big regret" is my fav comment of the episode. Buffy does have somewhat of a spidey sense about all this stuff and is usually right. But ofcourse it was hidden behind normal stuff. I like the relationship between Giles and Buffy. Like you said, finding out more about GIles. He really is more like a father figure like this. There was just the briefest glimpse of last episodes military dudes, making sure you don't forget about them.. Wonder what that was about.. hmm.... :). Lookin forward to the next one.

2022-05-12 19:42:35 +0000 UTCThe amount of excitement from realizing she was right about Buffy's roommate was priceless and how happy she was at the end with Will moving into Buffy's room was so great. It is nice to rewatch a beloved series but Dakara's reaction just makes the whole thing worthwhile. I suppose that is why we are all here anyways 😁. Terrific reaction and a fun episode for sure. The next one will be even better no doubt.
