This ep made Dakyra come out! I thought I was safe with this show guys! Why does this keep happening to me?! Haha. Great ep though. Monroe is officially my favourite! The connection he had with Holly here was just so warm and precious - I loved it! I'm so glad with how this episode ended too, brought an actual tear to my eye. The SFX were great as always too & I can say that I'm warming to this show now!

I am late to the game in watching these reactions but yes. I am a huge Babylon 5 fan. I would love to see a reaction to that series.

The two brothers really were hot-headed idiots and i couldn't stand them. someday i'll catch up with your reactions :)

2022-05-20 23:00:40 +0000 UTCWhat's really interesting to me is that, while Captain Renard is clearly dodgy with whatever he's got going on with Adalind and the people trying to kill first Aunt Marie and then Nick, but at the same time, he's a cop and is actually good at his job as a police captain. There's so much complexity in the development of different characters. Captain Renard is no exception. Also, the show will ... eventually ... explain how wesen (blutbaden, bauerschwein, hexenbeists, etc.) know that Nick is a Grimm, but if you want to know how they know before it's revealed on the show, I can tell you.

2022-04-08 10:31:34 +0000 UTCGetting better, isn't it? I think the show was figuring things out and what worked and didn't work. I also fell in love with Monroe. I don't know why Nick hasn't really hooked me yet, but Monroe has succeeded for some reason. I wonder if the show's writers/producers planned to use him very much or not. But I have to think that they did plan on having him be a regular, since he's key in helping NIck. I didn't interact with the Grimm fandom at the time, so I don't have any good fandom tidbits to share.

Each new episode draws me in more and more than the last one and Monroe is becoming an awesome reoccurring character and not just a side character brought in for convenient plot device and I love it. Only 7 episodes in and the difference in tone, atmosphere, and character development from episode 1 and even 2 to this current one is night and day. Can't wait for the next one.
