Sam saving Jack & Garth, Ketch making a humorous appearance, Cas fighting Michael, Dean being taken over - Awesome mid season finale!

LOVED IT SO MUCH!!!! Was so happy to see Garth again. Michael’s new Vessel did a really good job. Dean’s headaches and blurry vision was always Michael. I knew that Michael did something to Dean to still have control over him. I ALSO WANNA KNOW WHY DARK KAIA DIDN’T GO WITH THEM!!!!!! It’s her spear and she knows all the techniques so whyyy?? but anyways I knew that it’s not gonna work…

I never understood why she wanted to keep hold of the spear if it causes her so much harm. Like Michele mentioned on chat, she could have gone with them to fight. I agree with you though, it all was a little odd. Thanks for watching :)

2021-06-19 15:55:14 +0000 UTCThis ep is so powerful in reinforcing what we already know, how strong the bond is between the bros and instantly going inside Dean's brain, Sam knew where Micheal could possible hide him. He even knew how to snap him out of it- their code language stays strong!! For me, this strengthened the idea that Dean has brought several people back to their selves from possession, mind traps - Mary, Cas, Bobby and ofc Sam in the infamous swan song scene. But everytime they had to bring Dean back, Sam could do it- s9, s10 and now when trapped in mind- even then. The next 5 episodes will be so much fun, I cant wait to see your reactions🥰

I had a tentative idea that something like that would happen, but thought it was just wishful thinking. So, I was ready to see what would happen now. I agree about Dark Kai - why not have her come with them? She's already shown that she can best Michael with the spear. And about that spear. I think it's the spear we've seen before. In a previous season. I'll have to look back through things to get the details though, but we've seen it. The one on this world was destroyed too. It was used against Cas and almost killed him. Crowley saved him by destroying the spear.

[ Dean is getting gear from back seat ] You -- We have a broken tape deck, we drove this whole way without music, and you did not complain once. Dean: [ Closes car door ] You know, I guess I'm just fired up. I mean, look. We got -- We got Jack back. When was the last time we had a big, no-strings-attached win like that? Cas's look when dean said that 😬, dean thinks they got jack back for no price coz he doesn't know about the deal 😬. Castiel to jack: You know, the Empty said that it wouldn't come for me until I had finally given myself permission to be happy, but with everything we have going on, with -- with Michael still out there, I don't see that happening anytime soon. This life may be a lot of things, but it's rarely happy. Paaaaaaaaaain

2021-06-15 21:04:28 +0000 UTCI remember that I asked the same questions you did when Mickael left Dean, but I only thought that Michael was connected to Dean and maybe using him that episode when Dean has the blur vision. I remember when I first watched this ep I thought the same thing about the actress that plays Michael, she did a great job and I absolutely see what you see about Jared acting he is amazing specially in these last seasons. I also think the episode was a bit slow but that end made up for it. Something that I didn't buy though was dark Kaia giving up her spear because she wanted to go back to the bad place to protect someone. Didn't she came to our world to kill Claire? I don't know, I didn't buy the explanation of her reasons to let go of her spear.

I remember what it was like with lost girl week to week of people wondering and dissecting every little bit of info of the promo photos etc. So much fun. But I most remember about the break after this mid season finale, is people trying to guess what the snap meant at the end of the episode. Most people were imagining something wild and crazy like the Thanos snap. However, in seeing previews for the next episode Michael was back in his suit, so at least for me it became more obvious the snap was mainly to change his clothes. I enjoyed this episode and the next one is a cracker. One of my favorites.

2021-06-14 19:33:18 +0000 UTCI love how this was written; as you said, it felt slow for a season finale. It was neatly crafted to lull the viewer as we were led into the trap along with TFW. And I was freaking out when it all came crashing down. We have seen Dean defeated over the years but knowing he revealed how he was drowning in his body before with Michael at the wheel, I was sick worrying how this second defeat would affect Dean. When Michael said he was gone... and they seemed to have already scraped together and lost their only weapons that might beat the sonofabitch you have to wonder what the hell is left? Sam's face pretty much said it all. And Cas, I went cold realizing when they get Dean back, (because they HAVE to, right?) that may well be his happiest! Yeah, I pretty much lost my mind at the end of this episode😱
