State of the Patreon - Private Discussion (BBs/SPs Only)

Greetings to you, my dear, dear Bosom Buddies and my beloved Serindipitous Providers.

 Yeah, I think I got a bit biblical with the naming. Ah well.

 I want to have a somewhat serious (womp womp) discussion about the state of the Patreon and want to know what you think and your thoughts about things and ideas I am tossing around. (There is going to be a bit of lead up since I am unable to be clear about this stuff to skip to that if you don't want to bother with the unnecessary dramatics.)

 I've had a chat with a number of patreons over last year and the bosom buddy tier seems to be quite popular. I have had people asking to join, or open more spots, and some people offering quite impressive amounts of money for a similar situation.

 This is the year of our lord Two Thousand and Twenny Five, and depending on where you live, patronage to enjoy my smut and support me may very well be the equivalent number of eggs in the double digits. What does that even mean?

 Well, a few things. I have some ideas.

 I want to add another tier or two to the patreon, because while I am a blossoming slut for money, I also don't have nearly as much confidence in myself, which is to say I don't feel right asking for people to pay for my smut unless they are super into it.

 I have often been told my commission prices are quite reasonable since just about everyone who can read this post has given me the honor to write for them in such a capacity. I have also, without fail, gone way overboard on every request for better or worse. Feel free to start a private chat and throw me under the bus for that. I have peeped other people's pricing and I find it quite over the top considering what they are putting out there. Maybe their free stuff and commissioned stuff are leagues apart, but what do I know? I can't be knocking a fellow writer for getting theirs, you know?

 So what am I getting at here? (TL;DR #1, Fake tl;dr)

 1. I am debating on raising the Bosom Buddy Tier. BB tier is very popular, seems like I might be giving it away quite cheaply, and unfortunately, it does take some time from writing other stories. But my two bosom buddies are some of my biggest fans and absolute darlings, so I won't do anything without talking to you.

 I am thinking to keep it at 2,000 words per month, but maybe bump it up a few bucks. (Someone was like, 'I'd pay 50 a month for that!' but I don't think I have the guts to pull the rug from under you guys that bad.

2. I am thinking of adding another tier, two actually. Basically adding a 7 dollar tier and basically having the 5/7 dollar tier be for people who want to vote/have more input/basically timing like this, but folks want to just drop more money Than others. Do I have Paypal donations links and all that? Sure, is it a pain in the butt for folks to do that? I suppose so. But they are just options, not forcing hands. So curious your thoughts on that.

3. The current 10$ tier will become something different. But What? Well this is an idea a fan on reddit suggested to me. I have had a similar idea before, but dismissed it because I am a cheap ass, but as an reason (read: excuse) to try and plunder the riches from kind and horny people, *ahem* 'A brand new level of erotic fiction to offer' (Please know that is tongue in cheek and not as evil as it sounds. I am attempting self-depprecation with the jest and don't mean it as a megalomaniac admission.) I think my megalomania is still in very safe levels. Anyway. I want to add images to my stories. Granted, they are going to be AI images here and there. At first. (And 'At First' might be, like, years of time.) But I'd like to get to the level where I could commission some sexy B&W expressive line art that maybe isn't ultra risque, but still gets the message across. And adds to the stories.

 3.5 AI art, Amazon releases, Patreon Value. Additional thoughts about #3. I basically Write drafts here, share them with patrons, and then (at a painstakingly slow pace that I am trying to correct.) I edit, rewrite, edit and rewrite, and then release each chapter as a standalone novella on Amazon. (Forgive me for working hand in hand with a literal evil person, at least their company. I have some qualms about it, but also see it as the best platform for self publishing at the current juncture, and will continue to until I get banned. Anyway. Heartfelt admissions to you, my dears.)

  Amazon is kind of a bitch about erotica, overtly erotic images (Fair, I get it, but, c'mon. Anyway, not my fight at the moment.) and while I'd like the effort of putting images in the books to push through that stage of my creative process, I don't see it happening. It's just too risky, but I think as a proper and true patreon-exclusive reward it has its merits.

 What would that look like? Basically, I'd release, say, a teaser of EB or something and it would just be text for the teasers. (Same as usual.) But when I released the full chapter, there would be a version for everyone, and then there would be the, idk, 'deluxe version' which will have one or two AI images of big titty people or maybe even some sex going on depending on how hard I push this thing. I'd probably give one or two examples away free as a sample. (Remember when I posted that bunch of images that I thought about using for a book cover for EB and EM and stuff? And joked about having an AI image tier? This might be similar to such an idea, but I guess since it would be inline with an actual chapter/story it feels slightly different than that? As opposed to dumping a bunch of images and calling it a day, I'd be tweaking the images until I found something that fit well with a scene. Maybe even reached out to you guys for what scene you think you believe should be brought to life in images.

 This reminds me of winning that story contest and choosing a scene to get painted as a commission for winning. The feeling of having that art in that part of the story is pretty hot and I liked that. The fact that it will be AI for a while, until I can figure out how to work this new idea, is just a reality of the situation. Something my BBs will get regardless, because they be my bosom buddies, and also offer it up as an additional benefit for folks who want to support more as well. Once I get my process going, I may be able to apply this image addition fun to the BB commissions as well.

1. I'd like to bump the Bosom Buddy tier from 10 to 15 bucks a month. Same word count per month, just more money. But I am not doing anything until I talk to you two fine folks first.

2. I am going to make a 7$ tier. It and the 5$ tier will basically be the same. But one will just be 2 dollars more.

3. The current 10$ tier will become a new tier that features artwork inline with story chapters. It will begin as simple AI art and eventually end up being commissioned linework/other fancy art that has a style that I enjoy and captures what I am into.

3.5 The 'inline' artwork may apply to bosom buddy commissions. I also explain a lot of my thoughts about #3 in more detail above.
