the crews personality chart

hello! i finished all the training at my job and am starting normal shifts now, so i have time to draw and work again ! my friend dom (@domromart) made personality charts for his ocs and it inspired me to make some of my own for the ewlat crew .

lawrence and james are pretty stagnant but toni and agnes have a spectrum/variety to show their character arc. i was gonna write a super long description of each one but i forgot .. in the future when im less scatterbrained i will !

lawrence - lawrence is very stagnant and stuck in his ways and there is barely any change. hatred disappointment anger clutter sadness despair etc etc . i added the soviet barbies just bc i thought it was cool and also what his childhood mainly looked like pre disaster . i also added that one image of lain bc i think lain is such great autistic representation, and shes a big inspo for lawrence . somethings off and they see things differently than others. james sunderland and kendall roy both are stuck/trapped in an environment either by their own volition (james) or circumstances the couldn't control (kendall). i also think he shares kind of the same personality as heather mason, bc lawrence is blinded by rage and hatred but when it subsides theres usually nothing left for him . amy wanted me to add something whimsy and magical bc she thinks lawrence is kinda whimsical so i added the borzois LOL

toni - unlike lawrence, toni changes (its not easy and hes alone but he changes). from left to right i wanted to show a clear change where the right is misery, exhaustion, isolation, burnout -- BUT he gets out of it and phew... it was worth it after all... the jerma unlearn shame together image could literally summarize his and lawrences relationship lmao.. i love the image of shinji and i feel like shinjis constant guilt and shame for legit just existing represents toni pretty well bc lawrence doesnt have any shame at all . like he can just show up to work however he wants and is literally unaffected by anything negative (because he himself is his biggest burden and nothing outweighs it) but toni has enough decency to keep himself from becoming like lawrence, he just is affected deeply by the ridicule he gets from the world . but everything is ok in the end for toni :+)

agnes - like toni, agnes has a character change, but its a lot more fun and less traumatizing than toni. like she just figures out that shes gay in her late 40s/early 50s. she loves her work and shes definitely the heart of ewlat, as she constructs all of the sets, does everyones hair and makeup, makes the puppets and designs all of the clothes-- and shes super proud (like takashi yamazaki w his mini godzilla) but she realizes that all of her artistic energy is basically gone and experiences burnout (mob). finding out that shes gay changes her for the better tho #win..

james - james is so stupid like hes such a joke hes like mid fourties divorced single father . like he hates lawrence with a passion bc lawrence doesnt adhere to his rules as a director . and bc directing is the only control he has in his life hes kind of a control freak . hes a lot like boss bc boss is submissive to the whole world but boss doesnt have crazy anger issues and wants to kill lawrence every waking second of his life but outside of work james is like super chill hes just weird and insecure and kind of crazy but hes like a huge softie . he just fucking hates lawrence i cant stress that enough . he is amys favorite probably lmao
