INTEMPERANCE VI - Chapter 25, To Protect and to Serve
Added 2022-10-10 07:59:32 +0000 UTCI would like to thank my Patron Geekstyle for suggesting the concept of this next chapter. I hope I did it justice. This chapter is considerably more politically incorrect than most of my chapters as it involves the dialogue of the tour's security team and how they see the world. I am sorry if anyone is offended by how they talk and label people (though I am not going to change it even if you are). Their opinions are not my own, but rather how their personas would see the world and speak in their circumstances. As always, I appreciate the feedback. Geekstyle's feedback, after all, is what led to how this chapter was written.

When Geekstyle suggested that POV after the Totally chapter, I knew I had to do it. And I think it does a decent job of advancing the plot because it allows the reader to see the day to day operations of the tour, thus making it easier for me to gloss over those details in subsequent chapters.

2022-10-14 05:03:02 +0000 UTCI agree. This is why I keep my writing life completely separated from my work life. If someone posted an out-of-context snippet of something Matt said in the series, or perhaps one of the record company suits, or the security guys' lingo, and it was connected with me and made public, I could literally be fired for writing hate speech.

This is something far too few readers (and authors, TBH) seem to understand about fiction.
