INTEMPERANCE VI - Chapter 2, Make My Way Back Home
Added 2021-12-29 05:39:28 +0000 UTCHere's the second chapter. It's a little bit smaller than most but, as I've said before, I said all I needed to say in it and moving onto the next subject would have been out of place. I'm hoping to be able to pick up the pace a little bit now that the holidays are over and we've gone from Satan's Butthole hot to Witch's Tit cold here in the central valley of California. As always, let me know how I'm doing. Remember, your feedback helps shape the story.

Don't get me wrong, everyone does it to some degree. The extremes that some folks go to is a little unnerving!

2022-01-01 21:10:19 +0000 UTCAs good as this chapter is (and its pretty amazing, from a health care worker perspective) I'm most impressed by the way you nailed the 'I'm fixed, fuck changing my lifestyle' attitude that comes with so many people who survive major health scares. ...or maybe they wouldn't. Anyway, this was great & I really enjoyed it. Thank you & happy holidays to you & yours!

2022-01-01 12:48:27 +0000 UTCGreat short chapter. Love Caydee! You did a marvelous job with her responses and dialogue. I've had an internal catheter a coupla times. Literally the most painful thing I've ever done voluntarily. And coming out wasn't much better than going in either time. The first time, the nurse came in with it and I asked her what she was going to do with a contractor's garden hose. After insertion, she told me that one time it made an unresponsive patient, responsive. I strongly recommend avoiding situations requiring an internal catheter for recovery. We still have the Sword of Damocles hanging over Celia. My SiL went through a tubal pregnancy decades ago (actually about the time of this story!) and it was a very VERY traumatic experience. I am hoping the next chapter isn't the downer I think it's going to be. Enjoying the story immensely. Thank you for your efforts, Al!
