INTEMPERANCE V - Chapter 26, The Tour Packages
Added 2021-11-09 22:07:19 +0000 UTCBeing in Covid isolation is not all that much fun. I'm not really sick anymore (I never really was sicker than just mild cold symptoms), but there's a good chance I'm still contagious so I can't leave the house, can't sleep in the same bed with my wife (who did not have the courtesy to get Covid with me, so we have to stay at least six feet apart at all times), can't have any visitors. But what I can still do is write, so I've managed to pound out another chapter. Let me know what you think. We're starting to get close to the end of Book V here, and some important interactions occur in this chapter (as well as a cautionary tale for the ladies). And I got all the time in the world to read the feedback.

Pretty much back to normal. This is my last day of quarantine, but I'm still off work naturally until next Thursday. I lost about ten pounds from this ordeal, mostly because of absolutely no appetite. No worries though, I can spare them. All in all, this was not a fun experience. I would have rather not been sick and just worked. I did get a lot of writing done though and continue to work. And yes, we all have an Aunt Virginia. Things will be wrapping up in this next chapter so I can set the stage for Book VI.

2021-11-11 21:56:47 +0000 UTCHeh, everyone has an Aunt Virginia. I feel for ya Meghan! Nicely detailed set lists, and really well described rehearsal scenes. It's nice to see Jake and Laura winning over Meghan's mom ...a little more local support can't hurt. I liked Matt reaching out - a bit - too. There seems to be a growing respect and (potentially) a renewing of friendship. Heh, maybe he is growing up. Maybe! I hope that recovery is ongoing, and you & yours are doing well! Taking my mini-me for his first shot tomorrow, now that they've released it for kids ...we'll see how this goes; little dude hates shots, but asked to get this. (Smart kid)
