INTEMPERANCE V - Chapter 1, Our First Stop

This will probably be the last book in the primary story, but... I thought that Book 3 was going to be the last book when I started it as well... so we'll see. The story picks up shortly after Book IV left off and I'm not doing much intensive recapping of previous storylines on the theory that not many people will be be starting the saga from this point and that anyone reading this will already be familiar with the tale. I did employ a bit of cleverness with Chapter 1's title, but unless you're a fairly enthusiastic fan of Rush (the rock group, not the recently deceased right wing radio host), you probably won't get it.
