Al Steiner temporarily down for the count

To my loyal Patrons (you are not being charged for this post, by the way):

No, it was not the dreaded COVID that took me down, just normal work in an emergency room.  I tore my trapezius muscle on my right side a few weeks ago and had to go on light duty.  And, while I was on light duty, a little old lady started to fall in front of me, I instinctively grabbed her, and she instinctively grabbed my right arm and pulled it, further tearing the muscle (I did not let her fall though).  And now, while trying to let it heal, I keep re-aggravating the injury doing mundane things.  Unfortunately, the thing that aggravates this injury the most is sitting in front of a computer and reaching forward.  Which means I'm unable to sit and type for long periods of time currently.  I'm completely off work at the moment, waiting for an MRI, and trying to heal.  This narrative I'm typing right now is the most I've been able to compose in two weeks and it is already making my shoulder tighten up.  I'm hoping this will be better soon and I can resume normal work and typing duties.  If not, I'm planning to get the Dragon software on my computer and try dictating my writing instead. I have never tried to write like this and do not know if I can pull it off but I'll give it a try.  In any case, there may be a delay in the next chapter. I have 18 about half written now and I'm still hoping that, one way or another, I will be able to get it out before the end of the month.  Rest assured, however, that come what may, I will continue the story as soon as I can.
