2022-11-08 14:07:51 +0000 UTCI mean, I don't want to sound callous by saying I found it fascinating, because it's literally a dude talking about how he almost destroyed his entire life through addiction, but topics like this, the heavily psychological stuff about things like addiction and neurodivergance and the way brains process things differently to justify their next dopamine hit to you, I could listen to you talk about this kind of stuff all day, and yet it IS so horrifically insidious and sad that, not only are basically all forms of addiction so widespread, but that we're purposefully failing to treat them in the name of corporate greed. That being said, another amazing episode JD, genuinely powerful, thought-provoking stuff
