Latest batch of work on the Hive !

I worked again on one of the backgrounds for the administrative building that appear in the introduction of the game.

This one was simpler because there were fewer elements.

Later, each of the doors will lead to a different location. There will be a nursery, the director's office and a computer room.

This background is already ingame.

As well as the previous background! Interactions with the elements are working as intended. It was relatively simple to put together, contrary to what I thought.

There's also some progress regarding the integration of the storyline inside the game. Ms.Sato make an appearance and welcome June with a lot of warmth.

I aslo worked a little on 3D. Just placing models in a 3D scene and re-scaling them, then making a render. So it wasn't too much time consuming. Way faster that modeling it all from scratch.

This one is going to be Maddie and Lola room. I'll probably change some more elements but you can have an idea of what it will look like.

Since the nursery in the administration office will need a few occupants, here comes Tamiko, a new character!

It's only a quick sketch for now, I plan to finish working on it once the backgrounds for the intro are done.

I plan to make two new characters (Tamiko included) who will basically just be late regression inmates and will be kept in a separate area, waiting for adoption.

And that's all for today! Next week I plan to work on backgrounds again, there's plenty of work there.
